Don't Miss Your Train...

Step Into the Shadows of Humboldt's Haunted History this Halloween The old Samoa rail yard has secrets – dark, spine-tingling secrets that only come alive under the glow of October's harvest moon. This Halloween, dare to uncover the ghosts and ghouls that lurk in the shadows of Humboldt's past as you experience the Haunted Rail Tour. This thrilling collaboration between the North Coast Repertory Theatre, the Timber Heritage Association, and the Clarke Historical Museum transforms the historic 130-year-old Roundhouse into an immersive backdrop for unearthly encounters. As you wander the rickety railcars and forgotten corners of the mill, prepare to come face-to-face with the supernatural legends that have haunted this land for generations. From chilling tales of Samoa Island's ghostly past to heart-pounding run-ins with the legendary Bigfoot, each twist and turn of the Haunted Rail Tour promises to leave you breathless. Interactive exhibits, bone-chilling performances, and truly terrifying surprises await those brave enough to venture into the darkness. But this isn't just any ordinary haunted house. As a volunteer-run nonprofit event, the Haunted Rail Tour celebrates and preserves the rich timber, railroad, and maritime heritage that has defined Humboldt County for over a century. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support the important work of the non-profit partners, ensuring these spooky stories live on for generations to come. So gather your courage, Humboldt – the Haunted Rail Tour is calling. Will you heed the call of the shadows this Halloween season?
